The disposable KrosFlo hollow fiber filter is the ideal device for the quick filtration of
production scale volumes resulting in high product yields. Hollow Fiber Tangential Flow is
the most efficient filtration alternative for the gentle processing of delicate applications
like cellular harvesting and antibody production. It has become the industry standard for processing
latex microparticles. The Spectrum KrosFlo module consists of high quality hollow fiber membranes
potted in a chemically resistant polysulfone housing for product recirculation through 3-inch
sanitary inlet/outlet connections and filtrate collection via 1 1/2 inch sanitary
side connections. The hollow fiber membrane geometry and capillary flow dynamics provide
consistent filtration performance and direct scalability from process development to
production scales.
